I'm a PC gamer, so all my links and recommendations will be PC games.
I typically prefer games that don't require a lot of brain power because I've been making decisions all day, I just want to be entertained for a bit. So for that reason I have put many (hundreds) of hours into games, here are a few of my long time favorites. These alone add up to more than 2,000 hours total.

Wow, I want to try that farming simulator. Looks like a rush - j/k
Star Wars Battlefront 2 on PS4 (name is Kuvox to find me there). I mainly wind down with exercise. Gaming is fun but I'm in front of a monitor all day so I don't feel right unless I get away from screens completely for several hours.
Cooking is a good one too
Getting away from screens is really important IMO.
